What should an enquiry include to get a quote within one business day?
Five things: the product, the quantity, a target unit price if you have one, the delivery term (FOB, CIF or DDP) and the destination. With those, we come back with a price and a date within one business day. A product and a rough quantity are enough to start; no technical specification is needed.
- Product — a name and a short description, a link to a similar product, or a code from our catalogue, e.g. GTG201001.
- Quantity — an estimate is fine, e.g. 200 pieces or 1 × 40HQ.
- Target unit price — if you have one.
- Delivery term — FOB (Free On Board) Yantian: we load the goods on board at Yantian, and freight, insurance, clearance and inland transport are yours. CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) Gdańsk: we pay freight and insurance to Gdańsk, and you take over clearance and inland transport. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): we deliver to your door with duty paid, at one price. If you have not decided, write “not sure yet”.
