Dining tables from China: who buys this range
Dining tables from China in this range go to furniture retailers, interior showrooms, online sellers, designers and apartment fit-out firms. Most are extending tables with sintered stone or marble tops on metal bases. We negotiate the price with the factory, and our team in China watches quality through production.
Sintered stone is a material pressed from minerals and fired at high temperature. The same enquiry can include coffee tables, priced together.
What to put in an enquiry for dining tables
Give the code, the quantity and the variant to price. For an extending table the dimension line shows the closed and extended length, e.g. 1600–2000 × 900 mm, and many models come in two such variants. Add the top and base finish, packaging and delivery term. Price and date come back within one working day.
Some models, such as GTG103220, list two top formats: 1300 × 800 and 1300 × 1300 mm. The manufacturer offers custom sizes on GTG103194, for example. Stone and sintered tops need sturdy packing, so we agree the packing method with the factory before production.
Sample, production and the sailing to Gdańsk
Dining tables travel from China by sea, from the port of Yantian to Gdańsk. The typical sailing takes 30–38 days, depending on carrier, service and season. Before it come a sample and production under our team's supervision; after it, customs clearance and delivery. The delivery date comes with the price.
Under the Incoterms® 2020 rules, FOB Yantian means we load on board; freight, insurance, clearance and inland transport are yours. Under CIF Gdańsk we pay freight and insurance to Gdańsk, and the risk passes to you at loading. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means delivery to your address with duty paid, at one price. The route is covered in shipping from China to Poland.
Import duty and VAT on dining tables from China
Duty on dining tables from China is 0% or 5.6%, set by the CN code, the eight-digit EU tariff number for goods. A sintered-stone table on a metal base is classified by the material giving it its essential character. Polish import VAT is 23%. The EU tariff database TARIC lists no anti-dumping duty on these codes for China.
