Gold film: who buys it and what for
Gold film from this series goes to furniture-front makers, shopfitters, hotel and restaurant fit-out contractors and interior designers. Most of the 219 patterns are marbles with gold veining; the rest are geometric patterns, reliefs and stones. Our team in China negotiates the price and checks production quality.
The geometric patterns include cube, lattice, weave and bubble designs in several colours. The catalogue also carries marble film: 178 stone patterns for furniture lamination.
How to order gold film
Give the full pattern code with its suffix, the quantity, the substrate and the use. The suffix matters: MT89033-G, MT89033-1-G and MT89033-L are three different patterns. Roll width, thickness and backing are confirmed against the manufacturer's specification at quotation; price and date come within one working day.
Say whether the film goes on fronts, walls or shop fixtures, as that drives the choice of thickness and backing. Private label means rolls and packaging under your logo, useful for distributors.
Sample, batch and delivery
A metallic sheen is best judged on a sample, because a photograph does not show how it reflects light. Order large quantities of one pattern in a single production batch, as the shade can vary slightly between batches. Film travels by container from Yantian to Gdańsk; the typical sailing takes 30–38 days.
We quote any quantity, from a sample to a full 40HQ container. Under Incoterms® 2020, FOB Yantian means we load on board and later costs are yours. CIF Gdańsk adds freight and insurance to Gdańsk; DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means delivery with duty paid.
Import duty and VAT on gold film from China
Duty on gold film from China is 6.5% where the film is plastic. The CN code, the eight-digit number for goods in the EU customs tariff, depends on thickness, adhesive layer and backing. Polish import VAT is 23%. The EU tariff database TARIC lists no anti-dumping duty on these codes for China.
