Sakura matcha bowl and whisk holder

The Sakura bowl (chawan) with its whisk holder, for a customer who already has the bamboo tools and wants the ceramics. The glaze shades from pale peach to deep raspberry with no repeating pattern.

Every bowl is glazed by hand and comes out of the kiln different, so the colour gathers in a different place on each. The wide rim gives the whisk room to work.
