Chashaku 130 mm — purple bamboo matcha scoop

A chashaku, the traditional bamboo matcha scoop, cut from purple bamboo, also called shichiku — a dark bamboo whose colour runs from deep brown to almost black. It is shorter and lighter than the classic scoop, and the curved tip lifts the powder from the tin, so every bowl starts from the same measure.
