Tsuneho chasen — white bamboo matcha whisk

A tsuneho chasen cut from a single piece of white bamboo. Tsuneho (常穂), printed on its tube, translates loosely as the everyday cut: a general-purpose whisk for daily matcha rather than for an occasion.

It is the same size as our kazuho whisk, and its prong count is likewise the number of outer prongs, the ring visible from the side — not the nominal figure in the names of our 80-, 100- and 120-prong whisks.

It comes in a clear plastic tube. For tea shops, cafés and customers who ask for the traditional cuts by name. Shipped from our warehouse in Poland by courier across Europe. Stock varies by model; where an order is larger than the stock, the quotation states the date.
