Shin chasen — purple bamboo matcha whisk

The shin chasen (真) cut from purple bamboo, also called shichiku: a dark bamboo whose colour runs from deep brown to almost black. Its prongs are fewer and broader than on our fine-cut whisks and open into a wide, rounded head, which makes it one of the sturdier whisks in the range.

The dark handle sets the whisk apart in a display, in a premium gift set or in a range that already carries the white version (GTG201009). Its prong count is the number of outer prongs. It comes in a clear plastic tube.

Shipped from our warehouse in Poland by courier across Europe. Stock varies by model; where an order is larger than the stock, the quotation states the date.
