Kazuho chasen — white bamboo matcha whisk
GTG201006
A kazuho chasen cut from a single piece of white bamboo. Kazuho (数穂), printed on its tube, is one of the traditional Japanese chasen cuts and a classic choice for whisking thin matcha (usucha) into a light, even foam.
The prong count on this page is the number of outer prongs, the ring visible from the side. It is counted differently from the nominal figure in the names of our 80-, 100- and 120-prong whisks, so the two are not like for like.
It comes in a clear plastic tube. For tea shops and matcha specialists who stock the traditional cuts by name. Shipped from our warehouse in Poland by courier across Europe. Stock varies by model; where an order is larger than the stock, the quotation states the date.
